Located in a countryside business park where buildings and groupings of buildings vary in appearance, this building is easy for customers to spot. It houses the main office for an agricultural lender connected by a lobby to the administrative office. To reflect the type of business it does and the livelihoods of its customers, PCFC chose an exterior design which gives the building a modern barn-like appearance, accented by overhang brackets.
The walls are cedar board and batten on metal stud framing. The roof is pre-painted standing seam with batt-type R30 insulation to help deaden exterior ambient noise. To hide the HVA/C equipment, each wing has mechanical wells partially hidden with steel tube trellises. The true dormers are part of the metal building roof system.
The interior is two-story with the second floor framing an integral part of the metal building structure. This was a cost-effective measure that also offered the benefit of minimizing the number of posts required within the first floor work space needed to support the upper floor.
