This church building has both a sanctuary and classrooms. The standing seam roof has 76' panels to minimize end laps. To accommodate the large seating requirement, stepped flooring was used and a structural framed balcony was added. To reduce costs, R30 Simple Saver Insulation system with a black liner vapor barrier was used in the sanctuary area rather than a more traditional drop ceiling. The entry canopies were fabricated with curved structural channel and utilized standing seam roofing with flat metal soffit panels. The ornamental mechanical screen on the roof was custom fabricated from structural components.
