The architects of Paul Hobbs Winery were challenged to efficiently locate the three buildings on this sloped terrain. This was accomplished by digging the Barrel and Fermentation building into the hill and constructing a 16' high retaining wall. To give the building an "old style" standing seam lock appearance, the designers used 8' and shorter roof panels with a supertique finish.
